February 22-26 Lesson Plans

This week we will learn Sister and Brother in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will learn Grandfather, Grandmother, Family and Twenty. We will be playing a game in which the children will get the chance to roll dice with pictures of family members on them. Whatever picture comes up when they roll will be the word they have to say. We will be playing this game in all rooms. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will also be playing a game in which they children will have to throw a bean bag onto pictures of family members.

February 15-19 Lesson Plans

This week we will learn Mother, Father, and Apple in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will learn the same as well as Sister, Brother, and Nineteen. We will be "bobbing for apples" in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms as we continue to practice our colors. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will be playing Mommy Says, which is just like Simon says only using Mommy. We will also be looking at pictures and identifying the mom, dad, sister, and brother.

This week we will learn I love you and Friend in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will learn the same as well as I like, February, and Eighteen. We will be reading The I Love You Book all rooms, practicing saying Te amo. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will also be making a bar chart with our favorite colors on it. We will be saying Me gusta and then whatever color we like.
