March 8-12 Lesson Plans

This week we will learn Girl, Boy, and Sun in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will learn Head, Mouth, Ears, Eyes, and Nose. We will be playing a game in the Giraffe, Tiger, Gator, and Panda rooms in which I will say, "If you are a chica," or "If you are a chico," and then an action. The children will then have to do whatever action I say, depending on if they are a boy or girl. In the Flamingo, Frog, Monkey, and Penguin rooms we will be playing a game about our faces. I will say something like, "touch your nariz," or "wiggle your orejas," and the children will have to do it. We will also be decorating faces. We will be splitting up into groups and each group will get a bag that includes a head, some ears, eyes, noses, and mouths. The children will then get to create a crazy face and share it with the class.
